Steps to follow Auto Delete History on YouTube enabled

Step 1 : After opening YouTube on your computer / PC, you need to click on the three lines next to the logo. Then in the menu, there is an option called History.  See below image

Step 2: Next Click on it and open the Manage All History option.

Step 3: Next you open the Auto Delete section, you will see two options Auto Delete Activity and Don't Auto Delete Activity. 

Among them are 3 months, 18 months and 36 months options if you click on Auto Delete activity. If you select the desired time period in them ,from time to time your YouTube history will be automatically deleted at that time.

Step 4: After Selecting desire period , now Click On Next and Confirm buttons.

Mobile Setting for Auto Delete History on YouTube enabled

On the mobile, if you go to the library after opening the YouTube app, the History option will appear. 

If you click on it and then click on the three dots at the top right, you will have the History Controls option.
