WiFi Calling connects calls using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology instead of VoLTE (Voice over LTE) technology. All recent phones have the option of WiFi calling. If you do not have this option on your phone then you will not be able to make calls over WiFi.

How to activate WiFi calling option?
Android phone users activate WiFi calling
- Go to the Settings menu on the Android phone.

- After going to the Network section click on the WiFi Preference option.
- Then select the Advanced option.
- Click on the Wi-Fi calling option. If you have two SIM cards in your phone .. you can activate the WiFi calling feature for your favorite SIM card. IPhone users activate WiFi Calling
- Go to Settings on the iPhone and click on the Phone option.
- Click on 'Mobile' Data 'and select WiFi Calling. WiFi calling feature will appear only if your telecom operator supports it.
- WiFi Calling on This iPhone feature must be turned on.
- Once this feature is turned on, WiFi will appear under the telecom operator name (for example Airtel) in the status bar of your phone. After that you can make regular calls continuously even in low signal areas. More info
